MHSA FY 2019-2020 Annual Update Public Hearing & Behavioral Health Advisory Board

Calendar Date:
Monday, December 9, 2019 - 3:00pm

Every year, Mono County Behavioral Health completes a Community Planning Process and a Local Review Period for its Mental Health Services Act Plans and Updates. Through this process, MCBH staff and other stakeholders developed the 2019-2020 MHSA Annual Update. We now invite the public to review the plan and provide comments on the proposed services and activities.

The MHSA FY 2019-2020 Annual Update can be found by visiting monocounty.ca.gov/mhsa or directly by clicking on this link between November 8 - December 8, 2019. You can submit comments by emailing Amanda Greenberg at agreenberg@mono.ca.gov, by calling 760-924-1754, or by attending a public meeting on December 9th from 3:00-4:30 pm at the Department of Social Services Conference Room in the Sierra Center Mall (3rd floor), located at 452 Old Mammoth Road in Mammoth Lakes. The public comment period will be open until December 8, 2019. This meeting will be combined with a meeting of the Behavioral Health Advisory Board.

The mission of the Behavioral Health Advisory Board (BHAB) is to support individuals by promoting recovery, self-determination, and wellness in all aspects of life. The Board advises and evaluates the various functions and policies of the Behavioral Health Department that are under the direction of the Behavioral Health Director and jurisdiction of the Mono County Board of Supervisors (BOS).

This meeting is open to the public and meets in the Social Services Conference Room on the third floor of the Sierra Center Mall.
