Coroner's Investigation into the death of a Colorado man

RE:         Coroner’s Investigation into the death of a Colorado Man in the Town of Mammoth Lakes

On the night of Sunday, May 12, 2013, at approximately 9:55 pm, Mono County Sheriff’s Dispatch received a call regarding an unresponsive male found in a Jacuzzi in Mammoth Lakes.

Keegan Moore, age 29, of Cortez, CO, was found unresponsive in a Jacuzzi in Mammoth Lakes. Mono County Paramedics and Mammoth Lakes Police Department were dispatched to the scene. Life saving measures were conducted by the Paramedics and Mr. Moore was transported to Mammoth Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Mono County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Mammoth Hospital to begin the Coroner’s investigation.

The cause of death is still under investigation by the Mono County Sheriff’s Office and is pending autopsy and toxicological reports. Foul play is not suspected in the cause of death.
