Mono County Public Health Invites Residents to Take Well-Being Survey
MONO COUNTY, Calif. (MAY 9, 2024) – As part of a Community Health Needs Assessment process, Mono County Public Health is inviting residents to take a Well-Being Survey. Mono County is dedicated to making our community healthier, happier, and stronger.
The Well-Being Survey, made with the help of local and national health experts, lets people in our community share their thoughts about different parts of feeling good and staying healthy. The County wants to learn more about what people need and what problems they face by asking residents directly. This will help to better plan for the future and make decisions that can help our communities.
"We believe that the well-being of our community is a shared responsibility, and we need our residents to guide our efforts," said Tom Boo, MD, Mono County Public Health Officer. "Through this survey and related information-gathering, we hope to gain a deeper understanding of what matters most to our residents and to work toward creating a community where everyone can thrive."
The Well-Being Survey is available in English and Spanish. In addition to the online survey, printed copies will be available at various locations throughout the county for those who prefer a non-digital option.
"We want to hear from residents of all backgrounds, ages, and walks of life," continued Dr. Boo. "Your input will play a crucial role in shaping strategies and initiatives to try to make positive changes in our community."
