MONO COUNTY, Calif. (MAY 13, 2024) – Mono County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is pleased to announce a series of free Automated External Defibrillator (AED) trainings open to the public. These trainings aim to equip individuals with life-saving skills and knowledge, empowering them to respond effectively in emergency situations.

"We live in a rural, frontier community where we look after each other, and Mono County EMS believes that empowering members of our community with the skills to respond to cardiac emergencies can make a significant difference in outcomes," said Chief Bryan Bullock, Mono County EMS. "Through these free AED trainings, we aim to ensure that more individuals have the knowledge and confidence to act swiftly when it matters most."

Cardiac emergencies can happen anytime, anywhere, and having the ability to provide immediate assistance can significantly improve the chances of survival. With this in mind, Mono County EMS is committed to enhancing community preparedness by offering comprehensive AED trainings facilitated by certified instructors.
