Elizabeth Grans Appointed Economic Development Director for Mono County

MONO COUNTY, Calif. (February 6, 2025) – Mono County is pleased to announce the appointment of Elizabeth Grans as the new Economic Development Director. Grans, who has been serving as the Interim Director, brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record to this critical role.

"I am honored to have the opportunity to serve Mono County in this capacity. I am committed to working collaboratively with our communities and businesses to foster a thriving and sustainable economy that benefits all residents," said Grans.

Grans has worked in the Mono County Economic Development Department since January 2015. As Economic Development Director, Grans will lead the County's efforts to attract and retain businesses, create jobs, and promote economic growth throughout the region. She will play a key role in supporting existing businesses, fostering entrepreneurship, and collaborating with regional partners to enhance Mono County's economic vitality. Grans will also manage and administer the County’s Community Support Grant Programs, Fish and Game Find Fund management, fish stocking, and tourism marketing. Since 2022, Grans has also served as the Film Commissioner.
