Substance Use Task Force Meeting 10/6
Hello all,
As many of you may know, Tom Boo (Health Officer) and I have been pretty wrapped up with COVID response and had to put the “Substance Use Taskforce” meetings on hold as we had little time to do anything other than COVID response. As many of you may be seeing in your areas of work, the need to address substance use has never been greater. We would like to get the taskforce meetings going again and start promoting community outreach events to support our community during these challenging times. Some outreach events that we have in mind include a community Narcan distribution event and a mini virtual conference.
Initially we would like to do monthly meetings so we have a space to start planning community events and then move to every other month starting 2021. I will try to record meetings as well and post to our website in case others are unable to join and please take a look at our website for provider trainings and community resources, https://monohealth.com/public-health/page/substance-use-task-force.
