Rush Creek Project - Initial Study Report Meeting, November 9, 2023 - UPDATE

Hello again,

Based on feedback from interested stakeholders on the East Coast we are moving the meeting time up by one hour to 4:30pm to better accommodate those in later time zones. Please also note that the decision to hold a virtual meeting was based on the goal to maximize stakeholder participation and took into account the results of the participation survey last week, IT constraints of hosting a “hybrid” format meeting at the June Lake Community Center, and potential inclement weather.

The Microsoft Teams format allows for participants to call in (audio only) or join via the web without the need to download any additional software. The Teams software also allows for an interactive meeting during which participants may pose comments and questions.

Please reach out with any questions.

All best,
Patricia

Dear Rush Creek Hydroelectric Relicensing Project (Rush Creek Project) Stakeholders,

You are invited to attend the Rush Creek Project Initial Study Report (ISR) virtual webinar meeting on November 9, 2023 from 4:30pm-7:00pm. Please find the link and call in-information below. An automated calendar invitation to the meeting with the same information will follow this email.

The purpose of the meeting is to review and discuss the overall implementation progress of the Rush Creek Project technical study plans, including data collected to date, any deviations in technical approaches or schedules, and a proposed schedule for completion of the remaining study plan components. The meeting presentation will also include a description of any proposed modifications to the approved studies or new studies proposed by SCE in accordance with FERC Regulation 5.15(c)(1) and (2).

Prior to the meeting, and no later than October 27, 2023, Southern California Edison (SCE) will file an Initial Study Report with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and circulate the same report to the Rush Creek Project distribution list. The report will summarize SCE’s overall progress through early October 2023 in implementing each of the technical study plans, including an explanation of any variances.

Sincerely,
