Risk Reduction for SIDS and Other Sleep-Related Causes of Infant Death Training

Mono County SIDS Program provides education to professional entities who are in contact with local families and infants, and have an opportunity to reduce the risk of SIDS and sleep related infant death. While this training is designed for nurses, the content is appropriate for all professionals caring for infants or providing SIDS education, such as childcare providers, physicians, or EMS.

Step 1: Please click on the following link to enroll in and complete the self-paced online training.

If you have started the training and you are unable to finish, you will receive an email with a link to resume the training wherever you left off.

Step 2: Once you have finished the training, please complete this local survey (6 questions) to assess how helpful this training was to you.

Thank you for taking the time to stay informed on how we can reduce the risk of SIDS in our community. If you have any questions about SIDS and/or the SIDS program, contact your local SIDS coordinator, Jacinda Croissant, at 760-924-1842.
