Mono Minutes: Board of Supervisors Action Report (9/19/25)

September 16, 2025 Meeting Highlights:

  • The Board adopted a proclamation recognizing the retirement of Deb Stewart, Substance Use Disorder Supervisor, for her years of service to Mono County.
  • The Board approved an agreement with Sangho Park DDS Inc for the provision of mobile dental services to MediCal members in northern and southern Mono County communities. 
  • The Board approved an Memorandum of Understanding with the Mono County Office of Education and Mammoth Unified School District for school-based flu clinics for the period September 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025.

Mono County to Conduct Emergency Alert System Test

Mono County's Office of Emergency Management will conduct a test of the emergency alert system on Thursday, September 25th, at 10:00 a.m. The test will include an audible alert on cell phones in the Town of Mammoth Lakes, Crowley Lake, Tom’s Place, Paradise, Swall Meadows, Chalfant, and Benton. Residents who have signed up for Ready Mono alerts will also receive a text, call, or email. The message will be clearly marked as "TEST ONLY" and no action is required.
