  • Presentation of the 2024-2025 Mono County Annual Report: The Board was presented with the 2024-2025 Annual Report by County Administrative Officer Sandra Moberly. The full report can be accessed here.
  • Resolution Waiving Certain County Fees to Facilitate Pack Fire Recovery: The Board adopted a resolution to waive certain County-imposed permits and fees associated with clean-up, repair, and reconstruction efforts for residents directly impacted by the Pack Fire.   • Resolution and Ordinance Amending Policies, Regulations, and Standards in the General Plan and County Code for Short-Term Rentals: The Board adopted a resolution and ordinance that finalizes and adopts new rules and standards for short-term rentals (STRs), like those offered on platforms such as Airbnb, throughout Mono County.   • 2025 Draft Mono County and Town of Mammoth Lakes Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan Update: County staff provided the Board and residents with an opportunity to review and offer feedback on strategies to reduce the impact of local hazards like wildfires, floods, and earthquakes.

State of Emergency Declared for Mono County Following the Pack Fire: Governor Newsom has officially declared a State of Emergency for Mono County due to the impact of the Pack Fire, which destroyed 30 residential and commercial structures. This is a crucial step that unlocks vital state resources and low-interest disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) for affected homeowners, renters, and businesses. PUBLIC NOTICE: Solid Waste Service Fee Hearing: Mono County residents are invited to attend a public hearing conducted by the Board of Supervisors to consider an increase to the Solid Waste Service Fee Floor Rates. The hearing will be held at 1:00 p.m. during the December 16th Board of Supervisors meeting.

Capital Improvement Plan Workshop: Mono County invites all residents and stakeholders to participate in an upcoming Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) Workshop during the December 16th Board of Supervisors meeting. The CIP outlines Mono County’s short- and mid-range strategies for developing, maintaining, and improving essential public infrastructure. Your feedback is an important part of this process.
