March 17, 2026 Board Meeting Highlights
- Civil Grand Jury Awareness Month: The Board of Supervisors adopted a Proclamation designating the month of March 2026 as Civil Grand Jury Awareness Month.
- Reimbursement for Pack Fire Response and Recovery Costs: The Board of Supervisors adopted a Proclamation requesting 100% funding from California Disaster Assistance Act (CDAA) for the Pack Fire. If approved by the State, the Debris Removal for the Pack Fire would be fully reimbursable.
- Emergency Operations Plan Update: The Board of Supervisors received an update from staff and IEM on the County’s Emergency Operations Plan (EOP). The EOP serves as the County’s primary framework for coordinating emergency response and recovery operations across departments, partner agencies, and jurisdictions.
