January 13, 2026 Meeting Highlights
- Election of New 2026 Board Chair, Vice Chair, and Chair Pro-Tem: The Board elected Supervisor Jennifer Kreitz (District 1) as Chair, Supervisor, Paul McFarland (District 3) as Vice-Chair, and Supervisor Rhonda Duggan (District 2) as Chair Pro-Tem.
- Presentation to Outgoing Board Chair Lynda Salcido: The Board recognized outgoing Board Chair Lynda Salcido (District 5) honoring her service and leadership as Board Chair in 2025.
- Proclamation Designating the Month of January 2026 as Human Trafficking Prevention Month: The Board adopted a resolution recognizing the month of January 2026 as Human Trafficking Prevention Month.
- Pack Fire Update and Consider Continuation of Emergency Declarations: The Board adopted a resolution to continue the local state of emergency declared on November 18, 2025 as a result of the Pack Fire.

Your Voice Matters: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funding
The Mono County Board of Supervisors invites you to attend a public hearing to discuss several exciting new funding opportunities for our community. We are preparing to submit an application for the State Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and we want to hear your thoughts on these proposed projects.

The Board is considering applications for three vital local activities designed to support low- and moderate-income households:
- Small Business Loan Program ($1.5 Million): To help create and retain local jobs.
- Bridgeport Preschool Project ($300,000): To support early childhood education for local families.
- June Lake Community Center Upgrades ($300,000): Planning and technical assistance to assess ADA access and public service improvements.
