Mono County Elections Proposed Ballot Box Locations for the November 3, 2020 General Election
Public Notice for Community Review and Input
The Mono County Elections Office, in accordance with guidance provided by the California Secretary of State Office and the recently signed Senate Bill (SB) 423, is directed to identify and make public the proposed Ballot Drop-off Box (BDB) locations to be used in the upcoming November 3, 2020 General Election.
The Mono County Elections Office has worked in partnership with the Public Health Department and Mammoth Unified School District to ensure voting locations that allow for secure, socially distant in-person voting in Mono County. However, we also want to ensure that voters who wish to remain home while casting their votes will have a secure way to deliver their ballots to the Mono County Elections Office without any delays.
The Mono County Elections Office will begin accepting public comments for a period of 10-days, beginning August 28, 2020 until September 7, 2020. All interested parties should submit their public comments via email to elections@mono.ca.gov.
We encourage Mono County residents to connect with our office on Facebook and Instagram @monocountyelections to receive the most up to date information about the upcoming election and live election night results.
