How do I know if my child is eligible?

California children and young adults under the age of 21 may be eligible if they have a serious medical condition requiring special care such as diabetes, cerebral palsy, cancer, sickle cell anemia, traumatic injuries, hearing loss, and many others. Please contact us if you have specific questions and we will do our best to answer. The state ultimately makes these decisions based on diagnosis and medical documentation from your doctor or hospital.
