In partnership with the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES), the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the Small Business Administration (SBA), and other state partners, Mono County has opened Disaster Recovery Centers (DRC) in Bridgeport and Mammoth Lakes to assist those impacted by recent storms.
The Disaster Recovery Centers are open Monday - Saturday through June 8th from 9:00am to 6:00pm, (closed on Sundays and for Memorial Day).
The Disaster Recovery Centers are your one-stop shop for disaster resources. Residents and business owners who experienced damage from the 2022/23 winter storms can visit the Disaster Recovery Centers to apply for federal assistance and to access other available resources from local, state, and non-profit agencies. These can include learning about disaster assistance programs, applying for an SBA business disaster loan, finding housing and rental assistance information, meeting with state agency representatives, and getting help from non-profit organizations.
Those impacted are encouraged to file insurance claims for damage to their homes, personal property, businesses, and vehicles before applying for FEMA assistance.
Please bring the following:
- Address of the damaged primary residence/business with zip code
- Condition of your damaged home or business
- Insurance coverage information
- Current phone number and mailing address
- Social Security number
