Good morning everyone,
Tomorrow is our bi-monthly Eastern Sierra Substance Use meeting. This will be an Alcohol Interventions training with Dr. Slack (Mono County Public Health Officer) and Robin Roberts (Mono County Director of Behavioral Health). We will be discussing dual diagnosis, interventions for alcohol use disorder, and integrating harm reduction with alcohol use.
This training is for all, whether you know someone that uses alcohol in harmful levels and not sure how to intervene as a friend or family member, or a provider of patients that use alcohol in excess. Please share this training with everyone in your circle, they don't need to be ESSUP members, all are welcomed to join. This meeting will be recorded if you are unable to attend it live and the recording with be posted to the Eastern Sierra Substance Use Project website.
