Tioga, Sonora passes reopened

Due to early winter weather conditions, both Tioga Pass (State Route 120) and Sonora Pass (State Route 108) were closed over the weekend. Tioga Pass was closed at the entrance to Yosemite National Park by the park staff, while Sonora Pass was closed by Caltrans.

As of noon on September 30, both passes have been reopened. Caltrans reminds you to drive with care as the roads may still be wet from this weekend’s snowfall.
