Mono Lake Park

The Facilities Division of the Mono County Department of Public Works operates and maintains the following recreational sites throughout the county. Park establishment (Est.) dates are based upon available records.

The Public Works Department oversees the maintenance and operations of three public cemeteries within Mono County.  Those cemeteries are Bridgeport Cemetery, Mt. Morrison Cemetery, and the Mono Lake Cemetery

Mono County operates two public airports; Bryant Field and Lee Vining Airport. Master plans for both airports were completed in 2002. See Master Plans below for history, specifications, layout and other facility details. The other aIrport within Mono County is the Mammoth-Yosemite Airport, that is administrated by the Town of Mammoth Lakes.

The facilities division of the Mono County Department of Public Works is responsible for the maintenance of public buildings spread over different locations throughout the county. These buildings include several County Administrative Offices, the County Jail, Paramedic Quarters, Community Centers, and Senior Centers. The County currently provides services in the Town of Mammoth Lakes within leased office space in the Sierra Center Mall (SCM) and the Minaret Mall (MM). Within these two locations, County services include Public Health, Behavioral Health, Environmental Health, Social Services, District Attorney, Probation, Community Development, Public Works, County Counsel, Economic Development, as well as offices for the County Administration and the Board of Supervisors.
