Welcome from the Board of Supervisors.

Thank you for visiting Mono County's website. Here, you'll find information about the essential services that the county provides to residents and visitors, from animal control, the assessor's office and community development to elections, health and human services, public works, and the sheriff's office. Mono County's mission is to support all our communities by providing superior services while protecting our unique rural environment. Please get involved with county government by coming to a public meeting (view the calendar here) --the Board of Supervisors generally meets the first three Tuesdays of each month; the first two monthly meetings are in Bridgeport, and the third meeting is in Mammoth Lakes. Meeting videos are livestreamed and archived so that you can watch along and stay informed.

If you are planning a trip to Mono County, visit our tourism site at monocounty.org to get more information about what to do and where to go (there are two million acres to explore), and follow Mono County Tourism on Facebook and Instagram for year-round inspiration from California's Eastern Sierra.
