    Our mission is to serve, aid, and protect needy and vulnerable children and adults residing in Mono County in ways that strengthen and preserve families, encourage personal responsibility, and foster independence. The Mono County Department of Social Services offers a variety of services to individuals and families through several Federal, State, and County programs.

    If you know or suspect that an elderly person or adult with a disability who lives in Mono County is being abused, call the Adult Protective Services (APS) hotline.
