Mono County

Paramedic EMS Mission Statement

Mono County EMS provides pre-hospital emergency medical care and ambulance transportation for the citizens and visitors of the towns and area along the US Hwy 395 corridor. In coordination with other agencies such as the Special District Fire Departments, County Sheriff’s Department, Mono County Search and Rescue, CHP, USFS and CAL-FIRE the County Paramedic / Rescue members work 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to provide assistance to those in need.

Mono County EMS continually strives for excellence in prehospital patient care by routinely reviewing all calls and field-to-hospital radio transmissions. Additionally all personnel must maintain proficiency in skills/knowledge through mandated and optional Continuing Education courses.
