Mono County

Broadband/Internet Access

The implementation of Digital 395 will provide Mono County Communities with high-speed broadband access that has previously been limited and insufficient. The Digital 395 project is near completion and expected to be fully operational by the end of October 2013. The project consists of a 583 mile fiber network that will mainly follow the U.S. Highway 395, a major transportation corridor between Southern and Northern California, which passes through Nevada. For more information on Digital 395 visit: www.digital395.com or for technical questions feel free to contact our Digital 395 Project Manager, Nate Greenberg, at (760) 924-1819

Eastern Sierra Connect Regional Broadband Consortium (ESCRBC)

The Consortium was formed to leverage regional, state and national resources as an investment in improving and expanding broadband access in Eastern Sierra. ESCRBC is funded out of the California Advanced Services Fund (CASF) to launch public-private partnerships aimed at increasing digital access and use in Mono, Inyo and eastern Kern counties. ESCRBC is one of 14 regional consortia in the State of California. The project is supported by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) and is run by the Desert Mountain Resource Conservation and Development Council (RC&D).
